Jamall Shuman new head coach of girls' basketball
Maumee Valley Country Day School is excited to announce that Jamall Shuman is the new coach of the girls’ basketball team. He replaces Tiffani Blackman, who is now coaching for Toledo Public Schools.
Mr. Shuman has many years of coaching experience through Catholic Youth Organizations. He takes pride in getting to know his student athletes and helping them love the game and reach their full potential. He played high school basketball at Central Catholic High School and collegiately at Ohio Northern University.
When not coaching or with family, he is a road supervisor for United Parcel Service. He and wife Julie, a 7th and 8th grade teacher at Maumee Valley, have four children. He is looking forward to getting to know the girls on the team as well as their families.

Maumee Valley Country Day School is the only PreK-12th grade accredited, co-educational, and independent school in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
